Yoga Classes and Instruction
Yoga has many forms and many layers, branches, or limbs. Asana practice focuses upon moving the body through physical postures while maintaining the connection with breath. This allows us to connect with our life force and become fully present. Tuning in to how and what our body is feeling while we move with ease, challenge it, and stretch it creates that awareness of the wisdom our body holds and quiets the mind so we can hear our true and highest self and our intuition. As we learn to feel safe in our body, we clear stuck negative thoughts and open pathways to processing emotions stored in our tissues. Yoga asanas are designed to open the pathways of life force and energy centers of the subtle body while providing the varied movements so vitally important for brain health as well as the musculoskeletal system.

Barre Fitness
Although Barre class can be a upbeat challenging workout in and of itself, it is an excellent foundation to learn core stability and safe alignment. Whether you are returning to fitness after injury, new to fitness, or a seasoned exerciser looking to supplement your workout strategy, Barre will address balance and strength with weights and props, including the ballet barre, and a fusion of yoga, dance inspired exercise, pilates, Physical Therapy, and calisthenics.

Bellydance is great for the PHYSICAL body as it is excellent for strengthening core, activating the pelvic floor, and improving posture. It is actually a whole body exercise that also strengthens the cardiovascular system.
Bellydance is fantastic for the EMOTIONAL body; it elevates mood/decreases stress through joyful self-expression, physical activity, and meditative movement. It grounds and brings us into the PRESENT.
Bellydance is good for the BRAIN- learning movements and choreographies helps improve cognitive function, plus that bit about decreasing stress is important for brain health! It stimulates creativity which ties to the energetic body as well.
Bellydance helps balance the ENERGETIC body as it clears and activates our chakras and allows us to embrace the divine feminine. The active physicality of dance plus the creative, feminine nature of bellydance balances yin and yang, masculine and feminine.
Bellydance increases confidence through improved posture, strength, and grace. It looks and feels beautiful!
Bellydance is MAGIC! Dance is a traditional method of creating sacred space and conducting ceremony and ritual. Bellydance utilizes many universal symbols and shapes within its movements and originates in preparing for birth. Bellydance and the Body Temple Method
My Body Temple Method is composed of clear, actionable steps to take you from Burnout to Bliss, restore balance to your nervous system, reconnect with your Divine Feminine, and embody your inner beauty! This session outlines techniques and tools and includes a bellydance lesson that allows you to move energy in a fun, healing activity that is one of the most ancient forms of female expression and celebration.
